How I Can Help

My name is Brandi Crowe and I am a Board Certified Psychometrist.

As a psychometrist, I administer and score the standardized psychological and neuropsychological tests that doctors interpret. I have specific training and knowledge in:

  • Ensuring that the setting supports a client’s best effort

  • Documenting environmental disruptions that might impact the results

  • Noting qualitative information about the client’s personal performance, thinking and behavior

  • Understanding how each test must be administered and scored in order to be considered valid

Essentially, my job is to make sure the data is accurate and the foundation for the doctor’s conclusions is sound.

Nationally Certified Psychometrist

Brandi Crowe is certified by the Board of Certified Psychometrists and is a member of the National Association of Psychometrists.

Ms. Crowe has trained new psychometrists in medical settings for seven years, explaining test administration, what tests measure, and exact scoring procedures. She particularly enjoys tutoring graduate students, psychometrists in training, and professionals who need to learn this information well and quickly.

Ms. Crowe earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and has continued her education while working full-time as a psychometrist. She earned top grades in graduate psychology courses at Harvard University and the University of North Carolina, and attends conferences and trainings in clinical and forensic neuropsychology relevant to her specialty.

She has been a valued psychometrist for neuropsychologists in hospital, forensic and clinical settings since 2014, seeing patients across the lifespan. She has reviewed the work of dozens of neuropsychologists across settings and has developed a strong sense of how to support each doctor by providing accurate data in the format they prefer.

Ms. Crowe has specific expertise in reviewing neuropsychological data from high stakes legal and clinical cases. She skillfully checks the accuracy of neuropsychological raw data and provides an informed and specific opinion regarding the veracity of assessment administration and scoring. Her informed reviews note errors, omissions, missing information, standardization requirements, and other issues that result in inaccurate representation of test data. Her work allows practitioners to feel confident in their data and conclusions, and gives them the opportunity to first address any errors rather than learn about them from colleagues or during a deposition or trial. She has experience in reviewing data directly from practitioners and from opposing neuropsychologists involved in forensic cases.

“I’m more confident knowing my data is accurate and that I can correct a mistake before discovering it in court. Brandi is a pleasure to work with, reliable, and honest.  She cares about the quality of the work. Having her on a case helps me sleep better at night.”
